The 1986 Dunk Contest was a victory for short men everywhere, not just 5-foot-7, Spud Webb. Not everyone was happy though. The night was a huge loss for gravity and a very big upset for Webb’s heavily favored teammate, Dominque Wilkens whose thunderous dunks were reminiscent of only Thor’s hammer.
